It’s only Thursday afternoon, and but here’s yet an additional story about a prospective copycat killer invoking Orlando, this time in San Diego. It’s difficult to say if we’re doing much more harm than excellent by sharing these stories, simply because it is impossible to tell no matter whether any of these are credible threats, or merely broken individuals starving for unfavorable focus.

Following equivalent incidents in Brooklyn, New York and Atlanta, Georgia, police are at the moment investigating a threatening Craigslist ad directed at San Diego’s LGBTQ community that study, “You’re subsequent.”

ABC News reports the ad was posted to the men-seeking-men section a viewer sent a screen shot to a regional ABC affiliate ahead of it was removed from the site.

Featuring a photo of a hand firing a gun, it is titled, “We require more Orlando’s (sic).

Here’s the body of the post:

“Orlando was extended overdue. Cleanse your neighborhood of the filth that gives decent gay men and females a poor name. These men and women were walking illnesses, bug chasers, and thank god for AIDS and 9-11 and now Orlando. San Diego you are next …”

San Diego police are now increasing their presence at gay clubs and bars about Hillcrest in response to the threat.
